Почему NPM не удается установить Socket.io на Ubuntu?

У меня Ubuntu v11.04 работает на Win7 с помощью VMPlayer. Я только что завершил новую установку NodeJS v0.5.4-pre и NPM v1.0.22. При попытке установить Socket.io получаю следующее:
