Некоторые подробности о системе, так как сервер не является стандартной башней. При работе в кластере ARM, 16 узлов в кластере, доступ к узлам осуществляется только через последовательный порт через шасси, через виртуальный последовательный порт через диспетчер шасси и через ssh (когда узлы действительно могут загружаться). Шасси не имеет стандартного порта USB для загрузки живого диска (хотя у него нет порта miniUSB).

Все 16 узлов - это картриджи. Я удалил неисправный картридж, пытаясь получить прямой доступ к SSD. Похоже на DIMM (M.2 SSD). Я убедился, что его можно безопасно удалить, а затем нашел внешний корпус в Frys. Вставил его в ящик Linux (важно, Windows не распознала файловую систему) и получил доступ ко всем данным. Я сделал резервную копию всего, а затем скопировал все из / boot с рабочего картриджа на не загружающийся. Вставил SSD обратно в картридж, включил, работает!
Так. Если вы исчерпали все остальные варианты, попробуйте получить доступ к жесткому диску.
Не могли бы вы смонтировать диск, когда вы находитесь в оболочке, и отредактировать настройки grub либо по умолчанию для рабочего ядра, либо установить тайм-аут?
