Варианты твердотельных накопителей Dell и твердотельные накопители сторонних производителей в оборудовании Dell

У кого-нибудь есть опыт работы с твердотельными накопителями Dell?

Мы планируем использовать их для машины с базой данных ключевых значений, такой как Tokyo Tyrant.

SSD-накопитель: OCZ Vertex EX 60 ГБ SATA II 2,5 дюйма SSD

По общему мнению, это самый популярный / самый популярный одноуровневый SSD-накопитель, доступный для корпоративных приложений. В их литературе утверждается, что модель 60 ГБ:

  • Чтение: до 260 МБ
  • Запись: до 200 МБ
  • Стабильная запись до 100 МБ
  • Время поиска: менее 0,1 мс

Есть действительно отличный тест и обзор Вот.

Жесткий диск: Western Digital Blue Caviar 80 ГБ SATA II 7200 об / мин

Это типичный привод, который мы встречаем в наших системах. Литература утверждает:

Существует два разных типа SSD: SLC и MLC, одноуровневые и многоуровневые ячейки соответственно. Приводы SLC дороже, быстрее и, как сообщается, более надежны. Диски Samsung размером 25 / 50G доступны только как SLC (если мои 20 секунд "исследования" Google верны).

Потребуются ли для вашего конкретного использования диски SLC - решать вам по математике. :)

Если это поможет, они произведены компанией Samsung. Сейчас я смотрю на SSD на 25 ГБ из R610. Для меня большой аферой было то, что вам нужно купить RAID-контроллер и как минимум два диска (по крайней мере, так было пару месяцев назад).
