Вы должны убедиться, что каждая из включенных вами служб имеет файл журнала, который соответствует ожиданиям fail2ban.
Например:
sshd имеет файл журнала, определенный в fail2ban как:
logpath = %(sshd_log)s
который в дальнейшем соответствует:
sshd_log = %(syslog_authpriv)s
а затем зависит от конкретного файла дистрибутива, например
paths-fedora.conf:syslog_authpriv = /var/log/secure
Если файл не найден, fail2ban не запустится. Если вы знаете, где находится файл, просто отредактируйте вручную строку пути к журналу, и это решит вашу проблему.
