Я не могу установить automake1.9 на Debian 8. Во время работы apt-get install automake1.9 я получаю Unable to locate package automake1.9 ошибка.
Я пробовал обновить список репо, но это тоже не помогло.

Зачем вы пытаетесь установить такую древнюю версию automake? Вы следите за плохим учебником?
Эта старая версия автомата был удален из Debian и последний раз появлялся в Debian wheezy.
Вероятно, вам нужно использовать ток версия automake вместо этого. По крайней мере, вам нужно смотреть на все инструкции, которым вы следовали, с большим скептицизмом.
