Как найти и открыть интерфейсы Ethernet в изображении RHEL5, созданном на другом компьютере

Мы сняли образ диска с IBM PS-703 (P-Series, т.е. Power-PC) BladeCenter с помощью dd. в режиме спасения. Изображение RedHat 5.11. Цели заключались в том, чтобы иметь резервный образ сервера и иметь возможность разместить этот образ на двух других серверах, одном производственном, одном резервном.

Мы построили новый сервер, используя образ на сервере IBM PS-701 (P-Series). Это будет новая производственная машина. Образ был восстановлен с помощью dd в режиме восстановления.

PS-701 загружается и работает с установленным образом резервной копии. Однако, как сообщает lspci, интерфейсов Ethernet нет. lsdev недоступен, так как образ нашей компании блокирует его во время установки.

Оригинальный PS-703 сообщает о наличии двух адаптеров Broadcom NetXtreme Ethernet. Как уже отмечалось, PS-701 не видит переходников. Последние обновления в IBM Fix Central предполагают, что 701 имеет адаптеры QLogic, но запуск lspci на другом 701 показывает, что у него есть два адаптера IBM eHEA. Мы не уверены, что правильно. Новый аппарат показывает, что прошить через АММ нельзя.

Кто-нибудь может сказать нам, как определить тип (ы) адаптеров Ethernet в 701? Кроме того, не могли бы вы сказать нам, какие драйверы нужно установить? А как сделать Ethernet видимым?

Вообще говоря, лучший способ понять это - заглянуть в модуль управления шасси. У него должна быть возможность перечислять устройства в блейд-сервере.

РЕДАКТИРОВАТЬ: У меня больше нет действующего права на поддержку IBM, поэтому я не могу связать вас напрямую, но похоже, что у вас есть модель eHEA. На страницах поддержки PS701 должны быть драйверы. Кроме того, здесь есть драйвер с открытым исходным кодом: http://sourceforge.net/projects/ibmehcad/

Я все равно рекомендую вам проверить CMM на предмет полной инвентаризации оборудования блейд-сервера, потому что я просто предполагаю на основе других ваших выходных данных. Другой вариант - попробовать lsvpd, который вы получите, только если установите инструменты поддержки / обслуживания IBM (или запустите AIX).
