Как настроить PAM для аутентификации логинов SSH с помощью (пароль и OTP) или (открытый ключ и OTP)

Моя цель - разработать доступный сценарий для развертывания многофакторных логинов ssh типа (public key and OTP) or (password and OTP) на хостах Ubuntu Server 18.04.

Я следил за гидом Вот и это во многом работает. Единственная проблема, с которой я столкнулся, - это добавить auth required pam_permit.so до конца /etc/pam.d/sshd чтобы обойти проверки OTP для пользователей без ~/.google_authenticator файл.

Это руководство настроено для использования AuthenticationMethods publickey,password publickey,keyboard-interactive в /etc/ssh/sshd_config который требует открытого ключа для всех входов в систему, в то время как схема MFA, которую я пытаюсь реализовать, позволяет вводить пароль с OTP. Однако любая другая перестановка AuthenticationMethods похоже, полностью нарушает аутентификацию.
