Description :
This is GNU Bash. Bash is the GNU Project's Bourne Again SHell,
a complete implementation of the POSIX.2 shell spec, but also
with interactive command line editing, job control on architectures
that support it, csh-like features such as history substitution and
brace expansion, and a slew of other features.

я использую pkg(8) и нет /usr/ports. Означает ли это, что сопровождающий не обновил пакет, но список уязвимостей безопасности уже актуален?

похоже, что обновление вышло)

Мне пришлось обновить bash вручную из портов.

Сначала я убедился, что порты обновлены:

portsnap fetch update

Затем я обновил pkg:

cd /usr/ports/ports-mgmt/pkg
make BATCH=yes build
make BATCH=yes deinstall
make BATCH=yes reinstall

Затем я обновил bash:

cd /usr/ports/shells/bash
make BATCH=yes build
make BATCH=yes deinstall
make BATCH=yes reinstall

Моя версия bash теперь актуальна:

# bash --version
GNU bash, version 4.3.25(1)-release (i386-portbld-freebsd9.3)
Copyright (C) 2013 Free Software Foundation, Inc.
License GPLv3+: GNU GPL version 3 or later <http://gnu.org/licenses/gpl.html>
...

Слово vulnerable не отображается в этом тесте ниже:

# env x='() { :;}; echo vulnerable' bash -c "echo hello"
bash: warning: x: ignoring function definition attempt
bash: error importing function definition for `x'
