Монит не побежит

У меня есть два идентичных экземпляра EC2 (второй - копия первого), на которых запущен Gentoo. В первом экземпляре запущен монитор, который отслеживает один процесс, а также некоторые системные ресурсы и функции.

Во втором случае monit запускается, но сразу закрывается. Конфигурация одинакова в обоих экземплярах, как и версии monit.

monit.log показывает:

Ран emerge --sync перед emerge -va monit который установил monit v5.3.2. Когда это не сработало, я загрузил v5.5 с их веб-сайта и скомпилировал из исходного кода, который тоже не работал.
